The Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis is located near Phoenix in Glendale, AZ (US). It is a state-of-the-art 8,500 square foot campus attached to a fully functioning donor center which allows for the direct observation and application of practices performed in a real-world environment.
The building contains technically advanced conference rooms allowing video conferencing with networked broadcast capabilities, facilities for multi-site training sessions, traditional classrooms, professor’s offices, and a clinical laboratory. In addition, an onsite gallery exhibits materials that showcase the history and importance of plasmapheresis in healthcare.

Participants receive didactic materials such as handouts, a copy of the presentation and notebooks. Each participant is also provided with a welcome letter outlining rules of conduct for their stay at the Academy.”
